Agreement and eligibility

By using DuVoxa, you agree to these terms and the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You may use DuVoxa only if you are legally permitted to do so where you live. Anyone who cannot agree on their own should use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Use accurate recovery information, do not share passwords or reset links, and notify DuVoxa through private feedback if you believe an account is being misused.

Usernames are subject to availability and reasonable technical and safety restrictions. DuVoxa may change or release a username when an account is deleted or when necessary to address impersonation, security, or abuse.

AI-assisted learning

DuVoxa uses artificial intelligence for tutoring, translation, correction, definitions, generated speech, and realtime voice conversation. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or inappropriate. Fluency scores and placement results are learning estimates, not formal qualifications or certified assessments.

Use your own judgment and verify anything important. DuVoxa is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.

Your content and permission to process it

You keep any rights you have in text, speech, and feedback you submit. You give DuVoxa permission to store, transmit, transform, and have its service providers process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, or sensitive personal information that is not needed for language learning. The Privacy notice explains storage, AI processing, voice processing, providers, and deletion.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• use DuVoxa to break the law, threaten or harass people, exploit minors, or create harmful or deceptive material;
• upload malware, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls or usage limits, or interfere with the service;
• use bots, scraping, or automated requests that create unreasonable load or cost;
• access another person's account or collect another person's information without permission; or
• misrepresent AI output as a certified language result or guaranteed fact.

Good-faith criticism and negative feedback are welcome. Feedback rewards may be withheld only for spam, automation, repeated reward manipulation, or content unrelated to genuine product feedback.

Papyrus and other virtual features

Papyrus, streak freezes, scores, levels, and similar features are virtual parts of DuVoxa. They are not money, property, stored value, or a promise of future service. They cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash. Reward amounts, eligibility rules, balances, and available uses may change to correct errors, prevent abuse, rebalance learning features, or update the service.

Private feedback

Feedback submitted in the app is intended for DuVoxa's operators and is not posted publicly by the product. It may be read and used to fix problems and improve features. Do not include passwords, reset links, or confidential information. Any in-app feedback reward is subject to the displayed limit and the anti-abuse rules above.

Third-party services

DuVoxa depends on services including Firebase, Google sign-in, OpenAI, email delivery, browser speech capabilities, and hosting infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. DuVoxa is not responsible for third-party websites linked from the app, including research references.

Changes, availability, and account action

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. DuVoxa may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, material violations of these terms, or protection against abuse or excessive automated use. Where practical, an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided.

You may stop using DuVoxa at any time and may delete your account in Settings. Deletion is described in the Privacy notice.

No guarantee

DuVoxa is provided on an “as available” basis. No promise is made that every feature or AI response will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular learning goal. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited where you live.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated when the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continuing to use the service after updated terms take effect means the updated terms apply, to the extent allowed by law.
